How to obtain short estimates of task durations

By Philip Marris

In Critical Chain, it is essential to define short and focused durations for individual tasks, but how to obtain them?

In this conference, Philip Marris explains how to reach a state where it is the teams who propose "focused durations" themselves, thus demonstrating good adherence to the approach.

Philip Marris defuses a concern often encountered "yes but what if it is not the right duration"; the essential thing is not so much to determine THE right duration but to obtain a shorter, more accurate one than previously, and how this figure is not an end in itself but the beginning of an improvement process aimed at reducing this duration from year to year.
